Saturday, November 16, a Yankee Clippers work trip is planned at the Hawk Watch at Waggoners Gap in Pennsylvania.  We'll meet at the parking lot for the Hawk Watch ready to start work by 9:00am.  The Hawk Watch is on route 74 about 15 minutes north of Carlisle.  When traveling north on route 74, the entrance to the parking lot is on the right a little past the crest of the Gap.  We'll be working to refresh blazes on the Hawk Watch trails and improve the rocky tread.  With enough people we will also work on the trail section going to Longs Gap.

Useful tools include sledge hammers, rock bars, loppers, and blazing supplies.

There is a reported blowdown that needs to be cut and removed.

Let me know as soon as you can if you're coming on the work trip.

I'll notify those who respond if plans change.

The next AT work trip will be on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

The next Tuscarora Trail work trip will be on Saturday, January 18, 2020.

A North Chapter get together is scheduled for December 7.  Details to be announced.

Overseers are needed for open Tuscarora Trail sections and as additional help on almost all sections.  Please contact me at yankeeclippers@patc.net to take on a section.
